Iskra graduated law in North Macedonia and obtained a Master’s degree in International Businesses Law from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. After a brief period of practising law in North Macedonia, she moved to England in 2001 to earn a Graduate Diploma in Law, Legal Executive Diploma at CILEX, and the Notary Practice Course at the University College London, qualifying as a notary public in England and Wales.
